We’ve always been big believers that building a positive, sustainable future is on us. That’s why we’re committed to changing our global economy in ways that benefit people, communities and our planet.
In 2023, something bloody brilliant happened: we became officially B Corp Certified. Having our efforts recognised was a super proud moment for us – all thanks to the ways we’ve been hitting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability over the years.
B Corp status is our pat on the back for all the good stuff we do beyond the day to day – from making big decisions with our social and environmental hats on, to making sure our customers are getting great value.
We give our people freedom to find their best selves with great healthcare, wellbeing resources and training opportunities – and we’re big on community and environmental initiatives too.
But B Corp accreditation isn’t the endgame. We’ll never stop trying to make our world that little bit better. If we can do good, you can bet we’ll do it.
Sharing the love
Sharing is caring, right? Giving is a huge part of our ethos here at Oakland, and everyone who works here has the chance to choose how they play it forward.
Each year, we all pick a charity individually, choose a way to fundraise, and go all out for the cause. Every penny we make gets matched by the company, which means even more money goes exactly where it’s needed.
We’re more than up for team events too – think coffee mornings, tough mudders and everything in between. Anything left in our charity pot at the end of the year gets split between causes that mean something to our people.
We’re a friendly bunch
We know how to work hard, but nothing beats letting our hair down – and when we do it, we do it properly.
Our social calendar is bursting with meetups, workshops, celebrations and activities, so however you love to have fun, there’ll be something for you to get stuck into here.
